Exclusive! Sweet & Delicious Fondant – This specialty topping is what gives cakes an ultra-smooth appearance. LoveYouCakes uses it's own fresh recipe that's sweet and delicious -- it tastes nothing like most other Fondant, which is generally plain and dry. It is placed on top of a Buttercream frosting base. It can be made in custom colors and designs. Additional charges apply for cakes decorated with Fondant.

How do I get started?
It's easy! Just send me an email at LoveYouCakes@gmail.com or call (402) 593-7601 to check your date availability, order your cake, or to set up an appointment to taste samples, plan your cake, and hold your date!
What area do you serve?
LoveYouCakes is located in Papillion, Nebraska, and serves the entire Omaha Metro area. Including La Vista, Ralston, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Gretna, Elkhorn, Millard, Lincoln, Blair, Fremont, Plattsmouth and more!
What are my decorative design options?
Whether it’s stunningly simple, elegantly elaborate, or funky and whimsical, LoveYouCakes can create the cake you want. Dazzle your guests with your won style, hand made edible flowers patterns hand painting, intricate icing, or themes of your invitation, dress, colors, hobbies, parents' cakes, rings, if you have an idea, we can bring it to the cake.
What about ornaments and other adornments?
LoveYouCakes specializes in the most creative and elaborate adornments for any kind of cake. After all, your cake is the centerpiece of your celebration – you want it to look stunningly beautiful.
Choices for ornamentation include frosting flowers and edible gum paste flowers, piping in any shape or style, and special requests such as designs for sports, hobbies or other special interests.
Special candies or other requests: We can also incorporate a favorite candy or treat into your cake.
Toys: Including a toy into a child’s birthday cake really brightens their special day even more. We will include Barbies, trucks or backhoes, Thomas the Tank engines or other toy trains, and Legos for $5 - $10 extra.
For Wedding cakes, we will ensure that a proper space is available at the top of the cake for the cake ornament of your choice, if you provide one. If you decide to place fresh flowers on your cake, we will reserve space on your cake.
Can you deliver my cake?
Yes. Delivery charges in the Omaha area are $5-$15. We will deliver up to 120 miles -- additional delivery charges will apply.
Can I pick my cake up from you?
Yes. If you decide to pick up your cake, simply make arrangements at time of ordering.
Keep in mind that once the cake leaves LoveYouCakes, we are not responsible for any damage to the cake.
What are your deposit and payment terms?
When you order a cake, we go to work. Supplies are purchased, and time is reserved for your cake. With this in mind, we require a deposit of 25% of the total price of the cake. The remainder of the cake price is due when cake is delivered or picked up. If your cake requires special equipment such as pillars, dividers, stands, waterfalls, pedestals, etc., then an equipment deposit is required. The Equipment Deposit is held (checks are not cashed), and are 100% refundable when the equipment is returned intact and in its original condition.
When should I order my cake?
It’s never too early to order your cake! Some book their Weddings a year in advance. When you begin your plans for your wedding, party, graduation, anniversary, or any other special event, that’s the time to contact Love You Cakes and order your beautiful custom cake! Also, since each custom cake is prepared individually, our schedule fills up quickly.
How many pieces of cake will I need?
This all depends on the number of guests you expect and whether or not you'll be serving other food. We can help you determine how many pieces of cake you need.

Donations will be made to Siena/Frances House at 17th and Nicholas in Omaha. Recent 2010 donations include four 3 tier cakes, one 4 tier cake, 18 sheet cakes, and 18 dozen cupcakes! Below are Matt and Sarah with their friend Cody decorating 10 dozen cupcakes for the Siena/Francis House.

Recent Donations to Silvertown Township in South Africa.
My son and I volunteered at the Silvertown Township in Cape Town, South Africa, this past summer for five weeks and saw there are many items that they need. Using profits earned from the sale of cakes at LoveYouCakes, I was able to send a care package of some needed supplies.Some of the ADORABLE children...
We sent 38 pairs of Spiderman socks, 32 pink and orange socks, 42
headbands and ponytail holders, sidewalk chalk, 12 fuzzy posters and
markers, glue sticks, matchbox cars, alphabet stickers, Barbie stickers,
pens, hand-knit scarves, dress-up hats (cowboy hats, Nebraska hats,
baseball caps, etc.), drawing paper, and lined paper.I would like to send them new magazines to work with, with pictures of animals and American children, and more glue sticks. I would also like to send them animal dress-up costumes.
What did you do while you were in South Africa?
When we were there, my son worked with the 2-year olds. The kids played dress up with hats, colored on the sidewalk, and learned basic English. I worked with 5 and 6-year olds who were learning their colors and shapes. Forty children shared four small cans of Playdoe. We sang songs, and one day the 40 kids in my class decorated cakes to feed 150 children. I baked and frosted the cakes, and they added all the candies and squeeze frosting. They were so excited they sang "Happy Birthday" five times (even though it was no one's birthday!), and then we all ate cake. The Director made us a cake, and gave us the South African recipe, which can be microwaved, they did not have a functioning stove, but they still fed the kids 2 meals a day!
